Sunshine, SBS, and the Start of Summer Mayhem
If May was madness, June was… just as wild, but with a bit more sun and sangria.
We kicked off the month in full parenting chaos mode and ended it with sandy toes, baby fair buzz, and a renewed sense of momentum for Trek Tots. It’s been a month of juggling sticky fingers, suitcases, and startup dreams – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Holidays with Kids (AKA Parenting in another location)
We braved our first family holiday to Spain, armed with snacks, sticker books, and low expectations.
Between chasing our toddler through the airport and navigating nap schedules around Spanish siestas, our Trek Tots™ Play Mat proved to be the unsung hero. It gave us a soft, safe space in the shade wherever we went – whether it was poolside, beachside, or roadside during an emergency snack stop.
The moral of the story? Travelling with little ones isn’t easy, but having a few clever tools (and a good sense of humour) helps massively.
Our First Baby Fayre: We Survived!
Mid-June saw us take on our very first baby fayre – cue frantic packing and overthinking the table display.
Meeting families face to face was a game-changer. Hearing how much parents love the simplicity and portability of our play mat made all the hard work feel worth it. Bonus: I got to talk to real humans instead of just my laptop!
SBS Bootcamp: Small Biz, Big Energy
Another highlight was heading to Londonfor Theo Paphitis’s SBS Bootcamp, surrounded by brilliant business owners and even more brilliant ideas.
We heard from some amazing speakers (and yes, I took a million notes), but my biggest takeaway? Keep showing up. Keep sharing your story. Keep building your thing — even if it’s while simultaneously peeling a banana for a toddler who didn’t want it but now does.
