Care Guide

Our play mat is suitable from birth and beyond, making everyday with tots a little simpler & safer.

Taking care of your Trek Tots™ play mat & important tips for safe use:

Always supervise play: Ensure an adult is around while your little one enjoys the play mat.

Clear the way: Make sure there are no sharp objects underneath the play mat for a comfy and safe experience.

Gentle inflation: Blow up the play mat gently, and avoid using a pump or over-inflating for best results.

Keep it cool: Keep the play mat away from heat sources and open flames for added safety.

Warm weather tip: On hot days, leave the valve open when the play mat isn't in use to let it breathe.

Long-term care: When not in use for a while, store the play mat unrolled in a dry place with the valve open to keep it in top shape.

Inflating

Twist the valve open, which will allow air to start to flow into the play mat. Once self inflating stops, blow into the valve until the play mat is firm enough for use. Once sufficient firmness reached, close the valve by twisting the seal closed.

Deflating

Open the valve, fold the play mat short side into three with the valve at one end. Roll the play mat towards the valve to release the air, then close the valve when fully deflated. Add the two black elastic straps to the play mat to keep it in place, and pop into the play mat carrier bag.

Wipe to clean

For typical tot messes and spills we recommend either using cleaning and disinfecting wipes such as Clinell which are safe to use around babies, or alternatively wipe down with a mix of washing up liquid and warm water, ensuring the cloth is damp rather than soaking.

We recommend keeping your play mat a vacuum free zone, to prevent any damage caused by the weight and suction.
